Dino’s Mediterranean Fresh serves affordable, freshly prepared Mediterranean food dishes centered on gyros and shawarma. Founded more than 30 years ago, Dino’s is an authentic answer to the growing demand in the fast casual food space for menu items with bold, global flavors among the prominent Millennial consumer base the restaurant targets. Dino’s dishes are customizable to meet the diverse tastes and lifestyle choices of our customers and are offered both to-go and in each restaurant’s modern dining setting inspired by the bright, casual atmosphere of the Mediterranean.
Started in 1975 by Dino and Vona Adamidis, Dino developed a full-scale menu with the flavors of his home in Greece. Introducing gyros with distinctive, Greek spices, Dino found a sweetspot within the Twin Cities, who craved the savory flavors of the Mediterranean. Dino’s revolutionary cooking methods created a way to bring Dino’s to every block party, neighborhood carnival and county fairs- all over Minnesota. What started with gyros, created a brand legacy that has evolved to fit new consumer trends, without compromising on fresh ingredients and memorable flavor.

The flavors of our food represent the hard work of our family. We’re dedicated to creating healthier options around the dinner table and beyond. Our mother and father opened Dino’s in 1975. What started as a stand at small festivals around Minnesota, grew to be so much more—serving Minnesotans for over thirty years. We’re honored to continue the legacy of fresh, Mediterranean food that is as savory, and it is healthy; sharing our family’s recipes for years to come.
